Who can carry out this procedure?

Persons residing in Ankara who receive their retirement or pension from the Banco de Previsión Social (BPS), other institutions or Uruguayan pension funds.

Requirements

You may do it in person at the Consular Section, by sending an e-mail to uruturquia@mrree.gub.uy to schedule your appointment, or virtually by sending the application and the requirements indicated below to the same e-mail address:

In-person processing:

• Present a valid Uruguayan identity document (passport or CIU).

Virtual procedure:

• Digitalized copy of identity card (front and back) or Uruguayan passport (information sheet).
• Notarized affidavit in Türkiye of the retirement or pension holder duly apostilled before a competent authority.

Note: The existence certificate of the Uruguayan Military Fund is only processed in January and July of each year.

Cost: This procedure has no cost.
