The opening ceremony of the UNESCO Photographic Exhibition on Latin American Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage was held in Ankara on September 25, 2023. This cultural event was organized by Embassies of Latin American countries in Türkiye. On the occasion, Uruguay presented a photograph of Candombe as Intangible Cultural Heritage and a photograph of the historic center of the city of Colonia del Sacramento as Tangible Cultural Heritage.
